Cooper is the happiest dog in the world!!!
Cooper was rescued from Dead Dog Beach in Yabucoa, PR where dogs are abandoned and poisoned, shot at, intentionally run over, and worse. He was a sad and timid little guy and we decided he had probably been chained up most of his life because he tended to pick one spot and stay in it 24/7. In mid-September, Cooper was adopted to a family in Port St. Lucie and I've had the chance to visit with him twice to see his progress. He and Maddie, his new girlfriend, look very similar to each other though Miss Maddie is quite a bit, shall we say, more "robust" than Mr. Cooper. Cooper is a whole new dog now and he struts around with his tail sticking straight up into the sky! It's amazing to see the transformation he's gone through with a little time and a LOT of love and patience. Congratulations, Cooper! You deserve all the best!

1.06 Moving on is Such a Bitch The episode starts off 2 days after the previous. Lucas has barricaded himself in his room, depressed having lost Brooke. Brooke is also upset, unsure if she can trust Lucas again she looks through pictures of them contemplating a reunion. Meanwhile, Nathan and Haley are enjoy life engaged, clearly for-going their no sex before marriage policy. Then next day, Mouth goes to see Rachel to make it clear to her that they are no longer friends while Lucas tries to start a conversation with her at school, only to be shot down. Nathan, realizing that his best friend is down, tries to console Brooke and tells her to give Lucas a second chance. Brooke then goes to see Haley to see what is wrong with her. Rachel tries to call Cooper but he wont pick up, leaving her heartbroken. Haley tells Brooke she thinks something is up so Brooke takes her to the hospital, only to find out that Haley is pregnant. The next day, Rachel decides to make herself feel better by going shopping, hearing her phone ring thinking it's Cooper, Rachel rushes to pick it up only to find out it's Mouth (probably re-stating his point) Rachel throws down her phone disappointed. She then smashes a mirror out of frustration only to find out her sister, Brooke was in the next dressing room. Haley goes to her brother, Lucas and tells her that she's pregnant while Mouth goes to talk to Rachel and tell her he's ok with them only to find out they broke up. Meanwhile, Brooke tells Haley she's decided to give Lucas a second chance. The next day, Brooke goes to see Lucas at his house, only to find out he isn't there so she calls him to tell him she wants to reconcile. While on the phone with him, she knocks over a box on his bed, finding pictures of him with his ex-girlfriend, Peyton (who happens to be Brooke's deceased best friend). Brooke realizes that he hasn't gotten over her and tells him that she just wants to be friends. Witnesses Asked To Speak Up In Homicides
Four men were killed in 48 hours in the Kansas City area over the weekend. Police identified the four victims, who were killed in separate incidents: Vincent McCollum, 32; Darnell Cooper, 44; Derrick Blount, 28; and Lafayette Morris, 17. McCollum, Cooper and Blount were killed in Kansas City, Mo.; Morris was slain in Kansas City, Kan. KMBC's Martin Augustine reported that a common thread in the four cases is that no one is talking to police. Police said it's difficult to solve the homicides without someone coming forward with information. Residents said they can't talk to police without fearing retaliation in the neighborhood. Local pastors said that silence is the same as violence. That theme is echoed on a T-shirt worn by the Rev. Eric Williams. "We tell people, 'Speak up. Stand up,'" Williams said. Williams said speaking up is the only way to beat back violence. "The biggest challenge is just getting people to tell us what they saw," one police officer told KMBC. Williams said the violence is conquering truth and love. "If it's my house that's burglarized and you know who did it, and you won't tell, do you really love me? You're contributing to the violence," Williams said. Earlier this year, a parishioner of Williams' was killed at 34th Street and College Avenue, and nobody was coming forward. In the days after Brandon Burtin was killed, his family gathered at the corner, pleading for witnesses to step up. I am pursuing a career in family law, as I aspire to be a significant figure in children's lives who will go through the struggles and difficulties that I've already faced. I am interested in sports, music, dance art, literature, many things that people can creatively express themselves through. I write poetry too! Most of all I am interested in being happy and this video has served as a cathartic way to release stress and tension related to my past, let the hurt go, and let happiness in. My video is a representation of the struggles and the victories that my family and I have faced through a short amount of time.
